James Smith is the founder of ORP Consulting and a U.S. Army veteran with more than a decade of experience spanning military service, law enforcement, and national laboratory environments. His career has been grounded in protecting people, assets, and operations through disciplined leadership and practical security expertise.

James brings deep experience in physical security and risk management, informed by hands-on work in operational and highly regulated settings. That background shapes ORP’s security-first approach—focused on clarity, accountability, and strategies that work under real-world constraints.

Drawing on experience across public-sector and complex organizational environments, James leads ORP with an emphasis on sound judgment, disciplined execution, and solutions tailored to each client’s reality. Tyanna Smith

Tyanna Smith serves as Director of Strategy & Advisory Services at ORP Consulting, where she leads enterprise-level initiatives that integrate risk management, resilience, and strategic decision-making. She brings a structured, analytical approach to helping organizations translate complexity into clarity and measurable outcomes.

With more than a decade of experience spanning cybersecurity, data analytics, and organizational transformation, Tyanna has advised leaders in complex, highly regulated environments on aligning risk, governance, and strategy. She has experience advising Fortune 500 and public-sector organizations, helping teams make informed decisions and build programs that scale.
